## What this site does

311 Tracker lets anyone search any NYC building address to see its full 311 complaint history, open HPD housing maintenance violations, and a risk score (LOW / MEDIUM / HIGH / CRITICAL). Data covers all five boroughs and every residential and commercial building that has ever received a complaint or violation since 2020.

## Data sources

- **311 Service Requests**: NYC Open Data dataset `erm2-nwe9` — 1,857,167 records
- **HPD Violations**: NYC Open Data dataset `wvxf-dwi5` — 2,076,566 records (inspectiondate ≥ 2024-01-01)
- **Building registry**: NYC PLUTO dataset — 834,400 buildings across all 5 boroughs
- All data is updated daily via automated sync from NYC Open Data
